Wearable Artificial Kidney(WAK)-New technology in Medical

         

     In our human body the kidneys are important because they keep the composition, or make-up, of the blood stable.It is also prevent the build-up of wastes and extra fluid in the body.some health problem we got injured kidney failure.Due to this kidney failure now a days we use dialysis methods to removing waste and excess water from the blood.but in this dialysis method we facing a many problems as follows

1.we want to take the treatment continuously 4 hours

2.If your are taking this dialysis treatment we need at least 3 times in a week then only we remove the waste from our body.

3.it is difficult to take the treatment,because of this type of machine size is very big.

          To overcome this type of problems, DR.victor Gura an Associated Clinical Professor from the David Geffen School of Medicine at the University of California in Los Angeles has been built the smallest size of wearable kidney (WAK).After testing with animals and two people it is worked with good condition.the weight of the dialysis machine is totally 4.5 kg.in this machine act like as an normal kideny.for the previous dialysis machine need 150 litres water but in this machine taking only 1.5 litres of water is  enough.while we dialysis we will the water continuously.if this machine came to our real life we dont need to be in the hospitals long time..
