Camouflage for "Heat Resistance"

Posted by GK Photography

What is a Camouflage? A camouflage was a kind of material which has an ability to change pattern or colour with its environment. Mostly face paints are used for heat resistance of the human face. So there is a new type of paint introduces that protects human skin from intense heat. The main content of this camouflage paint was silicone. On the other hand face paints includes carbon, oil and wax bases. Due to the very fast action of this camouflage paint it will use with military applications. It can increase the time of high heat protection from a couple of second to as many as 15 seconds, which is quite enough for soldier to turn away. The paint, created by polymer professor Robert Lochhead and colleagues, is designed to protect skin from heat exceeding 1,112 degrees Fahrenheit

The research scientists of the University of Southern Mississippi was developed this camouflage paint, and they now try to develop a clear version for a fire-fighters and even face paint with built-in Mosquito repellent to help people in bug-prone regions.
