A 14-years-old US school student find out the flying robot, inspired by fruit flies

       From Fox Chapel Area High School Mihir Garimella got the Google science fare award for this project at the year of 2014.the price amount is $25,000 american dollars.He also planned to put this amount for making different robos in future.

Technology Used:

    Mihir Garimella used two simple infrared distance sensors, attaching them to a small commercial quadrotor, and programmed the robot to buzz in the opposite direction of an oncoming threat.It had an impressive record of avoiding stationary obstacles as it flew.

Previous records of Mihir:

    Mihir Garimella was won first place award in Engineering at the 2013 Broadcom MASTERS.He also also created an app called Classroom, which aims to replace the student planners traditionally used in schools. It’s an extension of iDMS .He developed the projects under the guide of Dr. John Holdren, the Director of the Office of Science and Technology Policy.
